This is a Digital Library working with the 'collection, maintenance and public viewing' of the historical documents regarding the Liberation War of Bangladesh and Genocide of Innocent Bengali People in 1971. More than three million Bengalis were killed and half a million Bengali women were raped by Pakistan Military Forces, Biharis, Jamat-I-Islami, Islami Chatra Shangha (Now Islam-I-Chatra Shibir), Muslim League, Nezam-I-Islami Party, Razakars, Al-Shams, Al-Badr, Peace Committee, Muzahid Bahini during the nine months long Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971.

The life and dedication of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has become known all over the world. The undisputed leader of 75 million people of Bangla Desh has also become a beloved and respected leader of freedom-loving people all over the world. He is not only a leader of men, a simple, dedicated and trusted mass leader, but has become the symbol of freedom, democracy and defense of people's rights. His life is an inspiration and his patriotism an example for the people all over the world.

Leaders like Mujib are not born every day. Men like him are rare on this earth. At the height of his popularity he commanded more love than many others who are no more, more respect than top leaders could hope to receive and more real influence as a non-minister than many Prime Ministers. His life is a sags of dedicated service for the cause of freedom, human rights and democracy.
